Does PCOC meet the needs of the industry in California

There are both good things and not so good things that go on in the industry.   I’ve seriously been thinking about setting up an organization separate from PCOC.  It is not that PCOC doesn’t do good things, but its’ focus sure is not on education or professional development.  The last two yearly conventions were poorly attended and there was little educational content.  I think there are better ways than PCOC has to offer to help raise the professionalism in the industry.
